A regulator in the valve incorporates a thermostat for mixing the hot and cold water to the desired temperature. The valve maintains selected water temperature to within 1 degree F regardless of changes in the temperature or pressure of the hot or cold water supply. WARRANTY The American Bath Factory ceramic cartridges now have a 25 year limited warranty. Faucet parts have a one year limited warranty.
